Ready (I think)

Well the fridge has been cleared of all the bits and pieces and restocked with lots of nice fresh vegetables.  This afternoon I'm going to make

  1. Hummus
  2. Veg soup
  3. Butternut squash soup
Then I'll be sorted for my lunches this week.
Have a personal training session booked for tomorrow and will do 2 bootcamp sessions and 1 yoga session at the gym this week.

And so it begins!

Over 8 years of expat life have done nothing for my waistline.  Eating out @3 times a week,  all you can eat and drink champagne buffets once a month- you get the idea! I've also been sick on and off for 5 years but now diagnosed and managing a chronic condition without medication.  So now everything seems right to sort my weight out. Don't want to be skinny,  just healthy and fit.
My aims are

  • To clean up my diet
  • Make exercise a part of my weekly routine
  • To be able to wear the pile of clothes I have in my wardrobe that are currently too small
Nothing exciting, nothing silly, just hard work and some effort. Today I cleared out the fridge so nothing nasty lurking in there now.  Tomorrow is planning lunches and dinners for the next week then shopping for supplies. I also want to take a starting picture but not sure I'll share that.
